Introduction

YL4500 series non-contact colorimeter

This series of colorimeters (colorimeters) have two models. The standard YL4520 can be suitable for most applications, while YL4560 equipped with an ultraviolet light source can also stimulate the color response of fluorescent substances and simulate the color characteristics under sunlights (Note: UV lamp can be turned off as wish).

YL4500 series color measuring instrument adopts standard 45/0° optical design (45° ring illumination 0° receiving). The color measuring probe and the tested sample adopt non-contact measurement, which can be used in laboratory or factory production line . The accurate color information can be used as the reference of quality control between the buyer and the seller. The instrument also has a QC interpretation function specially designed for production line usage. According to the threshold value set by the user, YL4500 colorimeter can automatically determine Pass or Fail result, which is convenient for operators and find out product defects quickly.

Non-contact Electric Color Measurement Probe

The measuring probe of this series of colorimeters uses a stepping motor to control its up and down movement and position. In the built-in control software, the common height value can also be memorized. After selection, the instrument automatically controls the motor and move the probe to specific height. It maintains the same distance for the same group of the samples. When testing the color Lab value or color difference, the probe does not need to touch the surface of the sample. For powder, liquid samples, or paste, the accurate color value can also be measured without pollution or influence to the instrument, and no damage to the sample surface.

Camera sample positioning

In order to be suitable for various applications, the YL4500 series do not use a fixture to fix the sample, but uses a more advanced photographic positioning function. On the touch screen, user can observe the video of target sample position, and the measurement will be exactly the same FOV in the measuremnt aperture.

Computer Connection

Supports USB computer connection, control and read the instrument on the computer. YL4560 also supports Bluetooth wireless connection

Applications

Printed papers, cloth, paint and ink, wet and dry coatings, plastics, cosmetics, food, electronic product housings, ceramics, or other small or irregular surfaces (such as flat powder, frosted sheet).
