Magnetic Stirrer, Heating Stirrer

A magnetic stirrer uses a rotating magnetic field to mix fluid samples, by putting a small magnet bar (stir bar, or so called "flea"). Since there is only a small magnet bar in the sample fluid, the risk of contamination can be limited to minimum. For protein purification, overnight sample dialysis is usually utilized by a magnetic stirrers.
